Description

The third person of the Trinity is the Holy Spirit who draws us to Christ, convicts us of sin, assures us of salvation, strengthens us to live the victorious life, helps us understand the Bible, pray according to God’s will and share Christ with others. A person’s spirit is the part of them capable of responding to God. The Holy Spirit, God’s Spirit, is known to be the Agent of restoration agent who is present in the salvation experience. In the book of Joel, the prophet predicted an outpouring of God’s spirit upon all people. Jesus told His disciples the Holy Spirit would empower them to spread the Good News of the gospel! Organically, the paint flows across the canvas, making the colorful streams of visual movement resemble a power in motion abstractly. The green hues represent life (1 John 2:25), health (Genesis 1:30), growth (Genesis 9:3), prosperity (Genesis 30:37-41), restoration (Isaiah 61:3; Psalm 23:2,3) new beginning (Isaiah 27:6; Romans 6:4) while the shades of purple represent the joy in the wealth of the Holy Spirit as described in Jeremiah 33:9 and Hebrews 2:10-12; 13:15. May this piece remind us of the power, strength and wisdom of the Holy spirit that resides in every born again believer.
