Creation Day 5 – Birds and Aquatic Life

$100.00$480.00

On the 5th day of creation, God created birds to fill the skies and aquatic life to populate the seas, commanding them to multiply. Researchers have identified over 11,000 bird species and millions of aquatic creatures. The silver hues of the birds symbolize grace, while the glitter on the sea creatures represents the Holy Spirit’s life-giving flow. May this artwork serve as a reminder of God’s abundant mercy and the spiritual blessings He bestows upon us.

Description

God created the birds to roam freely through the skies and aquatic life forms to fill the seas on the 5th day of creation.  At God’s command, they multiplied and grew filling the populations after their kind. It has been noted by researchers that over 11,000 different species of birds exist and over a million species of living creatures, including fish, reptiles, and crustaceans!  The silver hues and textures on the birds, as they soar through the painted sky scene symbolize grace (Song of Songs 1:11). The touch of shimmering glitter was added to the sea creatures as they occupy the vastness of the clear turquoise waters representing the life-giving flow of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13) and the sustaining power of God’s awesome nature. The cool color palette was chosen to convey a melancholic mood and scene. May this piece remind us about God’s abundant mercy and grace in filling us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3).
